"Universal" packages for OS X 10.6 & 10.7?

Anthony Kozar-2
Hello,

This question is primarily for Victor.

What does the "universal" in the latest Csound downloads refer to if there
is no PPC arch in the binaries?  32-bit & 64-bit ??

  csound5.15-OSX10.6-universal.dmg
  csound5.15-OSX10.7-universal.dmg

I'm just curious because I was downloading the last several Csound releases
and I wasn't sure whether to download one of these packages.  (Both of my
computers are still 10.5 and one is PPC).  (Btw, NO NEED to compile a 10.5
version just for me!  I can do that myself if desired ;)

Please CC me in your reply.

Thanks.

Anthony

No, the universal is x86_64 & i386 for 10.6 and 10.7. For 10.5 it is universal i386 - PPC.
