[announce] blue - 0.99.0

Steven Yi
Hi All,

I've put up a new version of blue, available at:

http://www.csounds.com/stevenyi/blue

The hilights of the new version are the new paste system and the new
PatternObject for editing pattern-based scores (based on my old
project "Patterns"; documentation for this available online at:
http://www.csounds.com/stevenyi/blue/blueDocs/patternObject.html). I'd
also like to thank Bill Beck for suggesting the AutoBackup feature
(Thanks!).  There are also a few bug fixes and documentation
additions, as listed below in the changeLog.

I also forgot to mention in the changeLog that an example file has
been added to blue/examples/soundObjects for the PatternObject.

Thanks also to the bluemusic-users list for their discussions on these features!

steven

p.s. - For those on the csound list, I have been largely posting
announcements on blue for major version numbers, and posting to the
bluemusic-users list for minor version number updates.  Sometimes some
new features or bug fixes which are noteworthy are not listed in my
mails to the csound list as they are already covered in the
bluemusic-users list.  If you are interested in finding out about
interim updates, please subscribe to the blue list or add a request to
be notified on the sourceforge project page for blue, as I do not want
to send too many posts regarding blue to the csound list.  There is a
link to the changeLog in CVS on the URL above that also shows the
latest changes that are in CVS.

Re: [announce] blue - 0.99.0

Marc Demers
Hi Steven,

Blue is getting better. Thank you for such a fine tool. I've been running
Blue and AthenaCL with Csound 5 for the past months and I am getting
satisfactory results.

Regards,

Marc
